Hi Heather, I teach English as a foreign language. My students often tell
me that they can understand me and they can understand other non-native
speakers but when they have a meeting with Bill from the US or John from
the UK then they are struggling. I sincerely believe that native English
speakers need to be taught how to speak English to non-natives. I have also
developed 10 tips. Would you like to share them with you? Maybe I should
    make a youtube video.

memully- I absolutely agree!!! I always say half my job is to help
non-native speakers speak with clarity and confidence. The other half is to
teach native speakers how to communicate properly with global audiences!!!
Unfortunately native speakers aren’t so willing to listen…

Eventually you want your fluency to reach a level where you don't need to think about grammar, but yes, grammar is important. If you haven't internalized the rules yet, you will need to think about it while you speak.

Thank you very much, Heather! Your advice should be used by everyone, who
wants to speak well in English 🙂 And it would be great to learn how to
speak like you, your speech is very…melodic, I’m glad there are teachers
who can motivate their students to make progress 🙂

Hi, Heather Hansen. Your tips are great, and I do agree when you say the
dynamic of a language in terms of pronunciation may be compared to music,
which has rhythm, amplitude, and so on. Nice approach. Thank you for the
    videos.
