Communicating in global settings requires completely different skill sets than normal business communication. This is true for both native and non-native English speakers. We need to speak with heightened clarity, accommodate to our listener’s language level by using clear, simple vocabulary, and listen to others with patience (and without judgment) so we really understand their messages. It takes a lot more self-awareness and adaptability to navigate the cross-linguistic and cross-cultural challenges that global business contexts present.

Our Founder Heather Hansen has lived and worked in 6 countries, and spoken, trained and coached in-person in 16 countries on 4 continents. Online, she has worked with Clients from every corner of the world and just about every language background.
