Further. Good one! I’ll add it to the list. What is your native language?
Then it will be easier for me to know where and why you’re having
    difficulties with this word.

I’m a native speaker, and I say it like ovious, sans b. That shouldn’t
carry any weight, though – I am a pretty lazy speaker.

Hello! My name is Luis Octavio, I´m from Mexico City and I have a big
doubt. I´ve heard a couple of times that some British people pronounce this
word with a small “L” just after the “V”, like: Obv-l-iously. Is just my
imagination or is something local like the word “neither” (some people say
something like “naither” even if the spelling is the same but they don´t
    say “nïther”)

I’m sorry to say that this might be your imagination, Luis. That definitely
wouldn’t be a normal pronunciation and doesn’t have anything to do with
    location. 🙁

given this a thumbs up! thanks!

More Finnish or more French? I can easily see the issues if you have more
French influence. I’ll talk to my Finnish friends to see if they have
    similar problems with these words.

Yes, very difficult for German, Dutch, Scandinavian speakers. You might also try to insert a Y sound between the VEE and UHS syllables. Ob-vee-yuhs-lee. See if that helps. 🙂

I’ve trouble pronouncing T’s and R’s. I don’t have any problem with words
like ‘Road’, ‘Rotten’, ‘Tomato’ but with words that have multiple R’s like
‘Rural’. I’ m wondering if you could help me out with a way to correct
    this.
